Real Estate IT manages a variety of systems related to project and work order management, Real Estate operations, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, and drawings. Details on each of these systems are provided below. Information and links to common campus systems are also detailed below.


The IBM® Maximo® Asset Management suite has been selected as the replacement for the Asset Management and Facilities Services current work order system (SPAN & Dynalogic). Maximo is industry-leading, comprehensive solution for managing physical assets.  on a common platform in asset-intensive industries. In addition, the system will enable web and mobile access for AM-FS staff and clients.


Unifier is a cloud-based project management system. Our implementation of this system supports the Campus' and our departmental goals of reducing paper processes, improving efficiencies, improving reporting capabilities, and more efficient financial management.

RE Remote Desktop

Access to the PRISM project management system is managed through a remote desktop connection. This remote desktop also provides access to MS Office applications, Unifier, and user files.

SPAN Remote Desktop

The SPAN Remote Desktop provide access to the SPAN Work Order, Dynalogic, and reporting systems.


The University provides online communication tools such as bMail, bCal, bDrive, Box, and CalShare for faculty, staff, and students to share information and easily collaborate across campus.
