Lisa McNeilly has over twenty years of experience working in the sustainability field. As Director of Sustainability at UC Berkeley, she has focused on sustainability planning and on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, and waste generation. She publishes annual sustainability reports and compiles sustainability metrics to emphasize transparency and accountability. Prior to her arrival at University of California, she served as regional program director for the Nature Conservancy, managed sustainability and compliance for facilities at the Grand Canyon, directed international programs at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, and served as special assistant to the White House Climate Change Task Force. She holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Princeton and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Davidson College.
